Safe Long-Term Care Consultation

A friend let me know that the Canadian Government is seeking input as they draft a Long-Term Care Act.

It’s important that many people respond so our government understands that Long-Term Care needs to be treated as a top priority.

As you will remember all levels of Government were promising changes to long-term care during the COVID pandemic because the lack of services and consistency in care was evident.

We saw disturbing videos and photos of seniors suffering yet it seems to me that not much has changed. Once again care of seniors is not a priority. If we want the Government to make the care of seniors a pressing issue they have to understand many people care.
